Privacy Policy

What GridLedger collects, what it does not, and how to ask us to delete it.

This policy explains what GridLedger collects when you read the site. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

If you subscribe to the standing entry, we store the email address you give us and the date you gave it. That is the only personal information we ask for anywhere on this site.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not build a profile of you, does not follow you to other sites, and does not require a consent banner because it sets no tracking cookie.

What we do not collect

We do not sell data, we do not run advertising networks, we do not embed social tracking pixels, and we do not ask you to create an account. There is nothing to log into here.

Links beginning /go/ redirect you to a partner company. Once you arrive there, that company's own privacy policy and cookies apply and ours stop. A partner programme may set a cookie recording that you arrived from us, so that any resulting purchase is attributed correctly. Details of the commercial arrangement are on the affiliate disclosure page.

How long we keep things

Subscriber email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the footer of any message we send. Once you do, the address is deleted rather than suppressed. Aggregate analytics are retained for two years and cannot be linked back to an individual.

Your rights

If you are covered by the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the CCPA or a comparable law, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections or ask for deletion. Write to [email protected] and we will act within the period your law allows.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top of this page changes with it. This version was last reviewed on 19 September 2026.
